Iconic Volkswagen Beetle could return with electric motor
Volkswagen recently released a video that has stirred up excitement among car enthusiasts. The German manufacturer revealed the new electric Beetle concept in a new animated film called “Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir,” set to premiere next month in cinemas and on Netflix.
This visually impressive concept of the Volkswagen Beetle has already sparked excitement, as it suggests the iconic model could make a comeback. However, Volkswagen has not yet confirmed the production of an electric Beetle.
The Volkswagen Beetle, which sold more than 23 million units throughout its long production life, bid farewell to the assembly lines in 2019. This beloved car, known as the “Vosvos” in Turkey, gained a much more modern appearance in its third generation. The potential return of this car, which still manages to capture attention with its design, would surely please many people.
The rear-engine and low-to-the-ground layout of the Volkswagen Beetle actually seems quite suitable for an electric car.
